Trade Conflux ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Trade data: We store the trade information you voluntarily enter — including dates, P&L, instruments, grades, confluence scores, notes, and chart images.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive a subscription status and customer ID from Stripe.
Usage data: We may collect basic usage analytics such as page visits and feature usage to improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Trade Conflux service
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or trade data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database with row-level security. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
Chart images uploaded to trades are stored as base64 data within your trade records. We recommend not uploading images containing sensitive personal or financial information beyond what you intend to track.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You may export your trade data at any time before deletion using the CSV export feature.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Google — optional OAuth sign-in
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies and browser localStorage to maintain your login session and user preferences (such as theme settings). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Export your trade data at any time via CSV export
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy
Trade Conflux is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
